Blog 1: 7 Things You Don't Need to Know About Me

[My 2nd First Post Ever!]

Seven Things You Don't Need to Know About Me:
  1. I'm a civilian commercial pilot with a little over 300 hours logged.
  2. I'm a UNR student doing a dual degree in Geological Engineering and Geophysics. I am currently enrolled in 18 credits, plus the three here at TMCC.
  3. I have a motorcycle that I absolutely adore! It took me two years of no sleep and hard work to make enough to buy her (it was totally worth it)! I secretly wanted one my entire life, so when the opportunity presented itself, I went to Michael's Reno Powersports and bought her! I thought it would be a good investment and also be extremely economical in the fuel economy area. However, I also own an SUV that drinks gas like candy, so I'm assuming I threw "fuel economy" out the window with that one....
  4. I have a great dog that I love very much! I have never had such an intelligent dog before. He's very easy to teach. :)
  5. I don't have any brothers or sisters. I am an only child, and contrary to popular belief, I was NOT spoiled--EVER! So not fair! Haha!
  6. I am trying to start a kung fu club at UNR because I really like martial arts. I only need three more takers and we'll be official!
  7. I can change my own oil (auto and moto) and do my own repairs to pretty much anything that needs fixing! I was blessed with mechanical ability, but in order to achieve balance, I was cursed with the inability to be fashionable in any way. I have no idea how to put on makeup or how to wear the perfect outfit. I pretty much go with the whole "anything goes" lifestyle in that regard.
And this concludes my first blog assignment for my Intro to Linux course at TMCC.

My First Post...Ever!

Hello World! I am a new blogger to blogger.com. As a classroom assignment for one of my college courses, I was required to start a blog. Please follow me as I learn about the fascinating world of blogging! I apologize in advance if this blog is somewhat lame. I'm sure it will get better as time goes on. I promise!

Anyway, thanks for reading and I'm sure you'll be seeing new stuff soon! Have a great day!
